Zombie Roomie – "Living with the Living Dead."

I really wanted to give the Vampire, Count Vlad, a phonetic accent so I hope you can follow it.

His V’s become W’s and W’s become V’s…. except in his name.

I didn’t want to confuse people if I were to have it say Wladimir Witali Wadislov, which would be the pronunciation according to the accent portrayed.

I had considered a few ways of showing the flashback and settled on the sepia tone for the middle two panels where Vlad is talking long-winded and in a bragadocious manner.

It’s different from any other technique I’ve tried to date and it’s fairly straight forward to show that it’s back in time for the explanation.
