The neighbor in 1B is in for a shock when they come to get their plant.
By the time they show up, George will have corrupted Junior but good.

George and the neighbor’s plant seem to have bonded. Eventually we’ll see the neighbor who moved into 1B. Just not yet….
Today, January 27th, is my birthday. Happy birthday to me.
If you feel like getting me something, how about telling someone about the strip? That’d be a great present. More eyeballs on the strip is an awesome gift that you could help out with.

The continuation from Friday’s strip. Also big help from my buddy Bill on this one. Thanks.
Wednesday is my birthday, I’m pondering whether or not to address it in the strip. I’ve got an idea for a joke, but, I’m not sure if I want to tie myself to the characters aging.
In other comics the holidays occur, but, the characters are fairly ageless. It’s something I need to think about.
Anyone have anything thoughts on the matter?

If you have eyes you probably have noticed that the site looks a little different.
Gone is the fake newspaper and in it’s place is a very red site w/ hinted blood splatter.
There’s still a few bugs and items that need squashed, but, I’m on top of it and there are a few that might need official ComicPress help on….
But, I’m pretty pleased with the way it looks and I’m going to be adding to it to get the features I want to move forward with up and running.
I’m sorry if you liked the old design better, but, I really dig this new version and it’s the direction I want to move towards with the comic site.

I wanted to get back to a comic that was pretty far away from the MMA story so what better to go to than a George eating kids strip.
My sister doesn’t like when I have George eat kids in the strip.
But, for some reason, it’s funnier than eating just random adults.
My buddy Bill did a lot of the heavy lifting for the joke in this strip, so if you like it, think nice thoughts his way.

This past Tuesday, I was listening live to TGT Webcomics and their guest was running late. So, I was asked to join in the conversation for a short interview.
One of the hosts, Kurt Sasso, was not able to be heard and folks started popping into the show towards the end. I decided to edit the ten minutes down to just over three which was all that was actually important to the interview.
I’m scheduled to be an actual guest on the podcast the end of October, which will coincide with the one year anniversary of Zombie Roomie.

Today ends the story based on George learning martial arts.
I’m sure I’ll reference his knowledge of the martial arts and even this fight later, but, starting Friday I’m doing strips no longer dealing directly with MMA/fighting again. Thanks for sticking around through my little journey where I wanted to play around with doing an MMA storyline. Mixed Martial Arts is one of the many things I’m an über geek about and I wanted to add it to the world of Zombie Roomie.
It also let me play around with adding celebrity likenesses to the cameo characters. That’s something I see Scott Kurtz do a lot and while I’m no Scott Kurtz, he is someone I look up to.

John and George seem to have stolen bodies from the morgue in the past, but, for some reason John takes umbrage with this reason.
George is getting ready for his big PPV fight that we’ll see on Wednesday.
Thanks for checking out the strip.
If you like today’s comic or any of Zombie Roomie to date, please think about leaving a comment on the site for me… I really do appreciate them.

Help spread the word about Zombie Roomie if you would. Users of reddit can upvote today’s strip here. Reddit is a good source of traffic when the strip shows on their comic page and for that to happen it needs votes. If you’re inclined to vote I’d be grateful.
John and George made it to the UAK (Ultimate Ass Kicking) Mixed Martial Arts group.
George’s negotiations probably would have gone better without John in this instance.
Monday we’ll have a strip detailing the training and then Wednesday we’ll have the FIGHT~!
The bald headed guy is the UAK president and he’s based off of the real life UFC president, Dana White. Dana swears… a lot. So, so does this character in case you were wondering about the censored text.

Watching MMA for the last few years I’ve noticed this phrase a few times on shirts here and there.
“Jesus didn’t tap”
I always thought it was wacky.
Also, amongst some of my friends we’ve referred to Easter as ‘Zombie Jesus Day’.
