This week is devoted to Glenda the Witch and the incident portrayed in today’s strip.
This joke is the reason I wanted to have Glenda named something that could be gender neutral and mistaken if mumbled.
So, yeah, well before we actually saw Glenda at all I had this strip planned.
We’ll actually see the new redesign for Glenda on Wednesday, sorry for the bait and switch, but, it was needed for the joke.

Bill really dislikes Denise Richards.
He wrote this strip and wanted to expound upon it so he wrote a blog post that gave him far more room to let it out.

Here we see the super again. When we first saw him back in the early part of February in It’s not easy being “Green” he didn’t initially have a name. BUT, we liked his design enough to want to keep him around.
Bill thought he looked Irish and felt his text was even funnier if you read it with an Irish accent.
So, we came up with this character blurb about him. Meet Sean:
Sean O’Shaughnessy – Proud Irishman and jumpsuit aficionado, Sean is the building superintendent. He’s an easygoing chap, but occasionally takes issue with some of George’s more outrageous antics. John regards Sean’s lustrous and magnificent golden beard as an object of envy.

We haven’t seen him since the original Monster Poker story before Christmas.
We’re getting close to seeing all the old monsters again… just Glenda the Witch is left.
She’ll be coming shortly, but we’ve got some stuff to do before she shows up. Stuff that’ll happen next week.

Friday will be another monster strip… it has one of the monsters we haven’t seen redesigned yet. (that list is getting smaller and smaller)
p.s. I want one of those hats George is wearing.
This one joke is the entire reason Jack and Francis live together.
Both Bill and I thought this idea was something we can consistently go to the well on… Francis’ dislike of fire and Jack’s smoking since lung cancer wont kill him.
We also get to see more monster poker… something we haven’t seen since right before the Christmas storyline.
