Wow. One-hundred comics by me… That’s a milestone.

Zombie Roomie has come a pretty good ways in that period of time… no really, go back and check out the early strips. I think I’ve grown a lot since I started back in October.

The next big milestone I’m looking towards in the one year anniversary. That’ll be a big one. I’m pumped.

Also, the Pope totally looks like the Emperor. See for yourself.

First off Congrats on #100, a great milestone. Can’t wait to see what the next 100 have in store.

Secondly, very funny stuff today. I think the Pope would be a great place to start. Maybe even try the catacombs under Rome, there may be a hidden room of souls tucked away for a rainy day. I like John’s Centurion helmet.

Wow, look at the evolution of George. I remember the first strip and the many changes that took place. I’ll have to say, I liked his original hair style, but really dig the Luke Skywalker look he’s been sporting as of lately. Leave it to George to pull a Star Wars reference out both in the way he’s standing in the first Panel to the Emperor Palpatine reference in Panel 2. Hope to see more of the Rome adventure this week.

I lived in Italy for two years while growing up. The Capuchin Brothers Catacombs were one of my favorite places to go to. The walls, fixtures, etc were covered in the bones of their monastic order. Taking a little kid to see that many bones decorating walls… I’m sure that screwed me up.

When trying to figure out how I wanted to lay out this comic, I did some google searching and came across tourist photos including some where the tourists had on centurion helmets… I figure John would have gotten stuck at some souvenir shop and HAD to have it.

I liked the goofy pompadour too for a while, hence why I kept it for so long… But, his current look is more fun for me.

Yeah, I wanted him to be miming Force lightning while describing Palpatine… I think it worked.
