Ah yes, the making fun of Twilight bandwagon… we’re on it too.
Join us there’s plenty of room.
Also, today marks Bill’s first blog post on the site. He couldn’t get enough of his hatred for Stephanie Meyer out in the strip so I convinced him to make a blog post. I’m hopeful I can get him to do more, maybe even make it a weekly thing.
Here’s the blog and it’s over there -> if you’re seeing this today.

“They combust and burn to ash” lol. I love this strip. Happy to see Zoey get set straight! The blog post was amazing too Bill. It was funny though seeing the twilight convention ad right next to it just as I was finishing haha.
Yeah, I had this idea rather soon after I came up with Zoey and knew that there was going to be an actual vampire in the comic.
Bill added his flair to it and we got the script, though wordy, finished.
I just had to do the script justice with the art and effects. Plus Vlad’s redesign came out pretty spiffy if I do say so myself.
It seems poetically appropriate that as I’m looking at the site, one of the banners is throwing me an advertisement for The Official Twilight Convention, and another for a novel called First Bite.
I think the universe is giving me the finger.
I made the same comment on Twitter earlier in the day. Google ads just pick up words from the text, not looking at its context.
“Sundown”? LOL! I kind of get the impression you’re not too fond of the Twilight books…
We decided to use Sundown instead of actually saying Twilight in the strip so we could possibly use it again for other purposes.
The strip and blog pretty well say that Twilight isn’t a perennial favorite here at Zombie Roomie HQ.
See just goes to show you how people can be swayed to improper thinking by way of a romantic novel. When will people learn that these vampiric love tales are not literature, but indoctrination by the masses to create an uprising against the vampires that don’t have a british accent or brooding good looks. Long live the days when Nosferatu could hide in the shadows and people would fear him, not want to make out with him.
Man, that’s one powerful UV flashlight as well. Zoey must’ve picked it up at the Blade garage sale down the street. :)
Did you shop there too?
