Let's try and come up with every monster from history, folk tales, flicks, etc.
Try and list them with their location or culture if possible.
I'm looking for ideas on supernatural creatures for the guys to meet later.

at the mountains of madness – hp lovecraft the guys go mountain climbing & meet the "old ones" george gets hungry & is to full to get back down the mountain! at the last pic george has a tentacle hanging out of his mouth, "mmm never tried calamari!

Well, Gremlins are fairly nasty, and they'd cause Leeloo no end of grief.
But a Wendigo could cause some fun on a camping trip
